WHEN: 2 DAYS OF COMPETITION FROM MARCH 11-16, 2005

WHO: XTREME WOMEN SURFERS AND BODYBOARDERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

WHERE: BANZAI, PIPELINE, NORTHSHORE, OAHU,HAWAII

IMPORTANT: All contestants must check in at Ehukai Beach Park on March 10th from 3:00-5:00pm!!!!!!!!

EVENT FORMAT:
BODYBOARDING- Format for women bodyboarders will be standard IBA format. We are looking at waves in the 6-10 foot range (hawaiian style wave heights) for this day of competition
SURFING: For the women's surfing division wave heights on the day along with number of entries will determine the competition format.We are looking to run the contest in anything from 2-6 ft (Hawaiian style wave heights) If there are 40-60 entries,we will hold the event in standard WQS format. If there are fewer entries and larger waves we may have a specialty style format like the Eddie Aikau, which will allow competitors to surf twice in the day for a longer time period and the best two rides of the day will be scored for the overall winner.
EXPRESSION SESSIONS: There will be an expression session held on each day of the event for any girl who wants to paddle out
SPECIALTY AWARDS: There will be specialty awards given at the event in honor of women surfers who have passed away
LONGBOARD HEAT: There is a possiblity we will have one heat for the women who want to longboard Pipe
