Lane has been challenging Da Boyz Club for a long time. In the early 80s she battled against male Breakers in shopping malls, nightclubs and right on the street in Seattle, Washington. At 17, Lane pursued another male dominated sport; Surfing. While she continues to pioneer women's surfing on the Northshore at places like Pipeline and Waimea, you may still find her at a night club doing headspins, helicopters, turtles, 1990s and the Thomas Flair.
